Discover Lagoon 40 – Nerea, a 4-cabin catamaran that pairs the laid-back charm of a west-Sicilian summer cruise with the comfort and stability of a modern multihull. Launched in 2024 and measuring 11.74 metres (38.5 ft) overall, Nerea is currently based in Marsala Marina | Marsala — a perfect launchpad for week-long sailing escapes across the Egadi Islands of Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo and the coast around San Vito Lo Capo.

Offering 10 berths, 4 sleeping cabins and 5 toilets, Nerea is just right for two families travelling together, a circle of friends or a small group exploring secluded coves and turquoise bays at their own pace. Linens, pillows and blankets are included on some boats and charged at the base on others — we confirm which applies before you book, so you can step on board, stow your provisions and head straight for the open water.

She is rigged with a classic mainsail. Also on board: audio system. Whether you're swimming in the turquoise water of Cala Rossa on Favignana, exploring the sea caves along Marettimo's cliffs, or anchoring off the Zingaro nature reserve, Nerea gives you the platform to design the trip on your own schedule, and our team remains reachable from your first question to your last night on board.

General questions

May to October offers great sailing. July and August are the hottest and busiest months. Spring (May/June) and autumn (September/October) generally bring softer winds and easier availability for berths.

Main starting points are spread across Italy's most beautiful regions:

  • Campania: Naples, Salerno, Castellammare, Sorrento, Procida.
  • Sardinia: Olbia, Portisco, Cannigione.
  • Sicily: Palermo, Trapani, Capo d'Orlando, Milazzo.
  • Tuscany: Marina di Scarlino, Punta Ala, Piombino.

This catamaran's weekly rate is given on request, because it depends on the season and on the week you choose. Send us your dates and we come back with the price of the full week and each mandatory and optional extra, listed item by item.

The base bareboat rate covers the catamaran with its standard inventory — sails, dinghy and outboard, bed linens, galley kit, and safety gear. Charts and a plotter are always on board.

Charged separately at cost: fuel, water, marina fees on your route, end-cleaning, transit log, marine-park permits where required, and optional extras like skipper, hostess, water toys, or early check-in. Italian VAT is included in the displayed price.

Every booking carries 72-hour free cancellation from the moment it is placed — a full refund, no questions asked.

After those 72 hours, any change or cancellation must reach us in writing (by e-mail), and the cancellation policy shown on the listing and on your offer applies. It is set by the yacht's operator and stated in writing before you pay. If the yacht provider cancels, you receive a full refund.

We recommend charter cancellation insurance, which protects the charter fee against medical emergencies, family events or visa issues. The full terms are in our Terms of Service; payment steps are on the payment procedure page.
